LORI ZUCAL, NIC
FOUNDING DIRECTOR

Lori Zucal has been involved in the Deaf Community for over 20 years.  While earning her Interpreting/Transliterating Degree, she served as the Board Secretary for the Ohio Chapter of Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (OCRID). Additionally, she designed and implemented a student liaison program that offered interpreting students from around the nation the opportunity to make their voices heard by submitting articles to the nationally published magazine, The Views.

Early in her career, Lori was asked to join a not for profit agency as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO.  Four years later, she assumed the role of the Director of the Interpreting Department overseeing 10 staff and 50 contract positions. She remained in the Director’s position for nearly 10 years before founding InterpretingPlus.  Lori is regarded as an excellent business woman, leader and communicator, with a passion for serving the Deaf Community.

Since the inception of InterpretingPlus, Lori has made a difference in the Communities (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Hearing) as she incorporates best business practices with the highest of standards so that all customers’ needs are met.

Although we have become a nation that thrives on technology, it is Lori’s desire to bring back the personal connection with all of our customers and clients with the goal of continuing to connect people with people with the utmost integrity.
